Before founding his company, Dan built his expertise as an Investment and Data Management Consultant in New York, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges businesses face when turning data into actionable decisions.
At Ramsey Theory Group, he partners with entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and actively programs in Python and JavaScript to build data visualizations and machine learning models that power smarter business decisions.
Columbia University — Summa Cum Laude
Dan graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University, where he studied Intellectual History, Philosophy, and Mathematics. He received the Columbia University Lily Prize for his thesis, “The Reconstruction of Language and Time: Mathematics, Artificial Languages, and the Changing Idea of Time in the Scientific Revolution.”
This deep-rooted interest in the history of linguistic thought and early artificial languages organically led him to the fields of mathematics and artificial intelligence.
Beyond the Office
Outside of work, Dan is a passionate boxing fan who loves diving into the history of science and mind-stretching mathematical concepts. He shares his insights on his “Open Mind” blog, enjoys mentoring new programmers, and is always eager to learn from industry veterans. Above all else, Dan loves spending time with his wife, his two little girls, and his baby boy.
